One (1) Scholarship for $1000.00 is being offered for each calendar year. Students are welcome to re-apply each year.
- Must be currently attending high school as a senior or attending a community college, technical school or university.
- Must be in good academic standing with your current educational institution.
- For applicants under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
1. Create a Bike Video
If you don’t own a bicycle, feel free to borrow a friends bike. The bike does not need to be anything fancy, a cheap bike will do. Now create a video and tell the audience about that bike. Showcase your best skills and educate your target audience about something that they might not have known. Videos should be creative and entertaining.
In the video tell the audience about:
The style of bike (road bike, mountain bike, bmx, etc.)
The brand and model.
What you like about the bike or biking in general. Do you ride regularly?
Take us on a ride along and add any other commentary you wish.
Please keep your video between 2 to 10 minutes in length. Your video must be original content, created by you.
High-quality video, including professional lighting, sound, and video transitions or use of a tripod are not required to be a winning video. Amature video is fine. Have fun with it and make it a fun video to watch.
2. Posting your Video
Title your video as you see appropriate.
Copy and then paste the following in the video description:

3. Submit your Application
Only after you have created and posted your video as requested above, email email@example.com the following information:
Your full name
Your email address
Your phone number
Name of your high school, university or college
Year of study
Title to your video
A link to your youtube video.
Include a copy and paste of the release agreement below.
I hereby grant philsreviews.com the irrevocable right to use, publish, copyright or distribute video recordings taken of me, and grant philsreviews.com permission to the rights of my image, likeness and voice. I waive any right to inspect or approve any finished product containing my image, likeness or voice, and also waive any right to royalties or other compensation related to the use of my image, likeness or voice. I agree to release philsreviews.com from and against any claims, damages, losses or liabilities related to the use of my image, likeness or voice. I hereby warrant that I am 18 years of age or older and competent to contract in my own name, or if I am less than 18 years of age, that my parent or guardian has submitted this application on my behalf.

The contact information that you submit through the application is for the purpose of contacting the winner of this scholarship. The administrator of this website may also use the information for verification purposes. For the winner, the information may also be used for tax reasons and other legal requirements. By participating in this scholarship, you give us the full consent to use your information in the manner stipulated above.
Upon submission of your scholarship application, you will receive a response by email within 7 days indicating that your application was received. An attempt will be made to contact the winner by email on January 1, 2018. In the event the winner can not be contacted, an alternate winner will be selected.

A $1,000 Check will be mailed to the financial aid department for the winning student’s account immediately after being declared the winner.
